Rihanna has just released her new song “where have you been” and will be starring in the new film “Battle Ships”. “Battle Ships” comes out in summer 2012. The movie is starring, of course, Rihanna, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker and Liam Neeson.

Carley Rae Jepson hit first place on the ITunes charts and was top of MTV charts for 4 weeks with her single – Call Me Maybe.
She was only known in Canada earlier this year but after Justin Bieber’s trip back to his hometown, Canada, the now worldwide phenomenon, was signed by the one and only Justin Bieber himself!
He said as soon as he heard the song he “did his research” and found all about the artist and imediately signed her to his record label. Carley said she was amazed he signed her and very happy as she “didn’t know how to progress her music out of Canada.

Rita Ora, signed by Jay Z, ends her second week at number 1. Rita smashed onto the UK charts with her first single “Hot Right Now”(featuring DJ Fresh) which was then followed by “R.I.P” (featuring Tinie Tempah). She is now due to be on the line up of Capital FM’s Summer Time Ball along wih other new artists such as Conor Maynard and Lawson.
