Can Brooks Bounce Back?

Former chief executive of News international, Rebekah Brooks, was charged over accusations that she attempted to conceal evidence from detectives investigating the phone hacking scandal. Rebekah was confused by the allegation of hiding evidence; furthermore she stated that the decision was ‘weak’ and ‘unjust.’

But Rebekah was not the only one at guilt. Along with her, husband Charlie was also charged; he simply said that the police were looking for ‘scapegoats.’

Brooks faced three charges of ‘perverting justice’ and is also alleged of eliminating seven portions of material from the news archive.

Additionally, Rebekah expresses her anger through these quotes, “I am baffled by the decision. More importantly, I cannot express my anger enough that those closest to me have been dragged into this unfairly.”

Mr Brooks, who faced 2 charges alongside his wife, also declares she was a prey of a ‘witch hunt.’

They will soon appear before Westminster Magistrates on the 13th of June, alongside former PA Cheryl Carter, chauffeur Paul Edwards, head of security Mark Hanna and security consultant Daryl Jorsling. These four were also blamed for ‘perverting justice.’ Some statements were released denying these allegations. But all shall be revealed.
