In the rivalling match that took place on Sunday between the
world champion Novak Djokovic (Serbia) and Rafael Nadal (Spain) battled for the
title ‘French Open Winner 2012’. After all of Nadal’s hard effort he managed to
take home the title and made history by securing a seventh French Open title!
6-4 6-3 2-6 7-5 were his scores.
The weather affected the way both competitors played because
the tennis ball being covered in clay from the courts and the rain making the
courts very slippery therefore meaning that they could not make certain shots
played by their opponents and giving their opponents extra points whereas if it
wasn’t raining they wouldn’t have given away.
The match itself took place on a clay based court, on Sunday
10th June 2012 at the Roland Garros arena ain Pairs.
